Welcome to the Australia North & West District of the Church of the Nazarene. This district was created from the merger of the Australia Northern Pacific and Western Australia districts in January 2015, and now covers the states of Queensland, Western Australia, northern NSW, and eventually, the Northern Territory, with 20 churches to serve you. There are 7 churches in the Brisbane area, 7 in rural or regional Queensland, 5 churches in the Perth area, and one in regional NSW.

The Church of the Nazarene is a Christian church in the Wesleyan tradition that has been operating in Australia since 1945. It is an intentionally multicultural church that welcomes and affirms people of every race, language and cultural background. It is part of a global family of churches operating in over 162 nations around the world. The word "Nazarene" relates to Jesus of Nazareth.

What is the purpose of the Australia North & West District?

The Australia North & West District Church of the Nazarene exists to develop a network of healthy, interdependent, sustainable, local holiness churches in the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition throughout Queensland, the Northern Territory, and Western Australia that make Christlike disciples.
